连接词
这些词（connectives）是用来连接观点，从句或者词语的。在有些语法书中，它们也写做“conjunctions”。有很多连接词，但是最简单的就是“and”，“but”和“or”。

话语标记词（Discourse Markers）就是一些词语或者短语，它们能够帮助我们组织我们的想法，让我们的表达更加清晰。在其他的英语语法书中，这类词也叫作信号词（Signalling Words）。
