搭配的意思就是词的常用组合,用最简单的话来说就是让英语母语者听起来没有违和感。生硬的词语组合即使在意思上与常用搭配差不多,但是它们听起来不自然。词语搭配包括“stiff wind”和“weapons of mass destruction”等名词短语,“to get together”等短语动词以及“the rich and famous”等其他常用短语。
学习词语搭配很重要,因为它们能够让我们的演讲听起来更自然,而且它们还能拓宽我们的表达范围。
